Manufacturing Excellence Centre

The Engineering Centre is a pivotal step in advancing the production of newly developed battery cells, transitioning them from the laboratory to pilot production. This facility aims to achieve engineering and design objectives at a smaller scale while validating the cutting-edge developments from our Japanese R&D centre. It will also serve as a platform for developing customer-specific products across multiple sectors.

The centre leverages an already operational R&D lab, which will be remodelled into a state-of-the-art engineering hub.

The Engineering Centre focuses on achieving key technological and manufacturing breakthroughs enabling cost-effective production. This includes developing inhouse capabilities to manufacture electrodes, anode and cathode materials.
